Wait a minute. Harry's wand is fully made of nothing but carbon?
If it weren't for the molecular structural differences, he could wield a wand of charcoal for same effect, eh? :p
Author's Response: - Well, carbon nanotubes, a variation of carbon composed of linear strands of Buckminsterfullerines. Composed of carbon, but as similar to charcoal as a diamond, which is also carbon.

Just over a week since Hermione suffered 'the most humiliating experience of her life' at the hands of SHIELD workers or their associates and she's now politely talking to the head of shield about getting recruited by them....
No matter how much sense the offer may or may not make, in that short amount of time she'd be more likely to be telling them where they can stick the offer and be attempting to castrate any man she met, unless they messed with her mind already. There would certainly be some significant residual anger and resentment there.
If they have messed with her mind and Harry finds out, it won't matter who they think they are, it'll be bye bye SHIELD and ALL it's sub sections.
Might make a rather interesting story actually. PSI screwing the pooch by messing with Hermione's mind resulting in Harry going dark.
Actually, their handling of the situation post exposure might tick him off anyway considering that Hermione's exposure had been negligable according to their own readings before they put her through that.
- Hermione is smart enough to know that despite the humiliating nature of the decontamination scrub down, it was possible that said scrub down might have saved her life. Life is full of little indignities, but people rarely hold grudges against others for them if they are necessary.
- Beyond the informational scans, no one in SHIELD has modified Hermione or Harry's minds.

Hey Pal, I'll be following this one for a while, sort of against my inclinations, because you do usually tell an interesting story. My major problem is the Hulk itself, for my money, other than a few of the Peter David issues, was the least interesting character in the Marvel Universe. Hell, I'd be more inclined to read a story about Speedball or Rom SpaceKnight than I would the Hulk if it were any other writer.
I'm hoping you can keep this story on the lighter edge, I realize it's going to be a serious story, but I'm really not a fan of angstfests.
Anyway, see ya next time
